Imagine there is a 400 acre national park in the middle of the city, filled a wide array of native plants and wildlife. It does not seem plausible, does it? Well, King’s Park is exactly that. It is one of the biggest inner city parks in the world and is a must see destination of Perth.
As well as panoramic views of the city, families can enjoy native bushland walks, a BBQ at one of the designated picnic areas or a treat at one of the cafes/restaurants.
2. Cottesloe Beach – Fremantle, WA
Everything that say about WA beaches is true – they are some of the best in the world. We boast an entire coastline of gorgeous beaches that are perfect for a day of sun, water and leisure.
All the beaches are very family friendly, with most of them being easily accessible by public transport or car. However, the stand out is the iconic beach of Cottesloe.
It is a terrific, clean beach is ideal for your family. As well as clear water and white sands, Cottesloe Beach is home to some of the best cafes and pubs in the city.
3. Adventure world
Adventure world is an amusement park for people of all ages. It has rides that are designed for everyone from toddlers to grown up daredevils.
Adventure World is especially fantastic during one of Perth’s renowned hot days, because you can cool off while having fun on one of their many water slides.
4. The Cultural Centre – Perth, WA
In the heart of Perth there is a block called the Cultural Centre, which comprises of a museum, two art galleries and a theatre. If you feel like having a day of cultural, there is no better place in Perth to do it.
During many months of the year, you will find the Cultural Centre home to a number of festivals, the biggest of which is FringeWorld, an event that hosts hundreds of live performances.
