Why travel to Perth?

Perth recently featured in The New York Times’ 52 places to go in 2014, coming in 9th. Not only is it experiencing an economic boom, but it is also undergoing a massive cultural transformation. Besides that, other reasons you should travel to our beautiful city include:

  • Weather

Perth has a Mediterranean-style climate, which means that it is regularly warm and sunny. It experiences more sunny days per year than any other capital in Australia. Regardless of when you are travelling to Perth, it is highly likely that the sun will be shining.
  • Beaches / River

Because of the weather, it makes it ideal to enjoy the idyllic Swan River, which flows through the city. We also have some of the best beaches in the world. Iconic spots like Cottesloe and Trigg are filled with people most days of the year.
  • Activities

Engage in countless activities throughout the city, from bushwalking in King’s Park, to seeing a range of native animals at play at Penguin Island. Perth also host a number of museums, art galleries, and theatre for the more culturally inclined.

Regardless of whether you want to trek through Nicaragua in South America or laze about on a beach in Australia, while at staying in […]...

For those of us that are culinary minded, eating is a part of travelling as much as seeing the sights. Perth has an extensive palate in terms of cuisine, boasting a large multicultural community. Within the city, you can get everything from gourmet French meals, right down to good old fashioned pub food. However, enjoying a good meal on a shoestring budget is not the easiest task in Perth, as many eateries price a main meal around the 30-40 dollar mark. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t some great deals out there, you just have to know where to look. […]...
